WAYS TO PAY
YOUR MORTGAGE

Life can be busy, so we want to make sure that our customers can manage their monthly mortgage payment in a way that suits them.  There are a range of options available, but the majority of customers like the peace of mind that a Direct Debit provides.

Our intention is to be as flexible as possible for our customers, which means we will do what we can to make a payment date of your choice available.

If you would like to change your payment date to a date other than the one specified in your mortgage offer, then please let us know.

Making overpayments towards your mortgage can help reduce your outstanding balance over a shorter period of time. If you would like to make over-payments towards your mortgage, please refer to your mortgage conditions as any overpayment may be subject to terms and conditions, such as minimum and maximum amounts and early repayment charges.

PAYMENT METHODS

1. Direct Debit

Direct Debit is the easiest and most convenient way of ensuring your monthly mortgage payments always reach us on time. Payments are made automatically, so you never have to remember to make a payment or take time out of your day to pay your mortgage. You’ll also have the peace of mind that you’ll get advance notice of any changes we will be making to the payment amount and that your bank provides the cover of an immediate money back guarantee if there is ever an error.

The only condition is; the Direct Debit must be set up in the name of the mortgage account holder detailed on your mortgage agreement.

If you’d like to set up a Direct Debit, please get in touch.

2. Online Payments

You can manage your mortgage payments online. Login to your account and make a payment 24 hours a day using your debit card.

Once logged in, you’ll also be able to check the remaining balance of your mortgage, your monthly installment amount, view your complete transaction history and browse additional sources of information.

3. Automated Telephone Payment System

Make a payment 24 hours a day 7 days a week using our automated telephone payment system. There is no need to speak to one of our team, just select the automated payment option from the options provided and make a payment using your debit card.

4. Alternative Payment Methods

We are also able to accept payments via the following methods:

  • Debit card payment over the telephone
  • Standing order
  • Internet banking

Please ensure that you always use your mortgage account number as a payment reference if you choose to pay via internet banking. Failure to provide an appropriate payment reference could result in a delay, incurring additional interest charges.

Please be aware that we are unable to accept payments via credit card.
