BTL Product Update
From close of business on Thursday 20th August, we will be increasing rates across our Buy to Let product range. The new Buy to Let product guide reflecting these changes will be available from Friday 21st August.
The deadline dates to secure these products are:
- Decision in Principle Illustration produced AND the Mortgage Application commenced by 5pm Thursday 20th August.
- Full Mortgage Application submitted by 5pm Monday 24th August.
1% Fee Residential Special rates are back
Great news – we've relaunched our 1% fee Residential Special rates across our Select and Core credit criteria ranges.
These products could be a great fit for clients with:
- A low credit score
- CCJs, Defaults or DMPs (with a 12-month payment history)
Plus, we're still offering free valuations across all of our Residential and Buy to Let products, helping your clients save on upfront costs.

New lower minimum property value on BTL
We've reduced our minimum property valuation across all BTL to £75,000. This includes Core, Prime, HMO/MUB and Limited Company.
Please help us keep your details up to date. Once you log in, please check your profile is correctly showing your details including contact telephone numbers so our underwriting team are able to call you to discuss your customer’s application.
Now you can transfer your client on to a new Kensington fixed rate using our Product Tranfer Portal. Keep an eye on your inbox as we'll send you an email when your client's transfer window is open, along with details on how to login to the portal.

- Go to the portal forgotten password page
- Enter your email address
- Select 'request reset code'
- You’ll be sent an email with a unique code. If you haven't received an email check your spam or junk folder
- Select 'enter reset code'
- You will be asked to enter certain digits of your memorable word (these are case sensitive). Your memorable word has been set as your mother's maiden name
- Choose your new password. Remember, it must:
- Be between 8 and 20 characters
- Contain at least 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number and 1 special character
- It cannot include spaces or your username
- Valid special characters are $@!%*?&
